Day trip to St Omer, France - 22nd June 2012
On Friday 22nd June 2012, after waking up at about 5.00am, Year 6 went on a Leavers trip to St Omer in France. We journeyed for 2.5 hours to the shuttle. Afterwards we had another half hour coach journey to St Omer.
We later had lunch in a beautiful garden in St Omer; meanwhile we were discussing how to order an ice-cream in French. I ordered “je voudrais un chocolate glace s’il vous plait” which means Can I have a chocolate ice-cream please?”.
By Amelia.
Lauren and Harriet have described the day as “the excitement of my life” and “amazing”.
