Each week the KS1 and KS2 class with the highest percentage for weekly attendance wins an extra day on the playground equipment. The weekly attendance scores are detailed in the newsletter.
During a weekly assembly we also award an attendance prize to one child in KS1 and KS2. All the childrens' names are put in 'a hat' and a name is pulled out. If the pupil has attended school each day of that week and were punctual they win an attendance prize, which they can chose from a varied selection of attendance prizes.
Race For The Cake
To reward consistently good or better class attendance over the term, each class' weekly attendance is accumulated over the term to win the "Race for the Attendance Cakes". These are awarded during the last assembly of each half term and the last day of the term. At the end of our half-term summer break the KS1 cake was won by Oyster Class and the KS2 cake was awarded to Sanderling Class.
