Eco Warriors
Welcome to the home page of the Hinguar Eco-Warriors. This is a whole school project that we have set up to develop an understanding of the environment and how we can all ‘do our bit’ to help the environment.
This school year has started by children across Years 2-Years 6 being selected to our committee to help encourage others to do more. We have developed our Eco-Code which you can view on the attachment below.
We have carried out our environmental review and written our action plan. This year we will be focusing on improving our recycling and waste, building the green house, litter collections and green procurement. We will be continuing to establish our new allotment and working closely with Essex Wildlife Trust in establishing our outdoor learning environment.
We were proud to achieve our Silver Award last year and this year we are working hard to achieve our Green Flag Award.
